Girls XC Finishes 13th at AAA State Finals

The Emerald Girls XC team competed in the AAA State Finals yesterday. The meet was hosted at the Springdale Racecourse in Camden. The girls performed well after enduring a long season that started in August and included 10 races. They maintained their focus and composure in spite of the meet being rescheduled to a Tuesday

Emerald Cross Country athletes made the long, early-morning journey to the Springdale Raceway in Camden yesterday to compete at the Coaches Classic Invitational. Emerald hosted a dual meet with the Wren Hurricanes this evening at the Oasis Farm of Connie Maxwell. For the second consecutive season, the athletes from both teams shared a meal after the race.
