The EHS cross country teams traveled to Palmetto for their first meet of the season yesterday. They each persevered through the heat and finished well. Emerald Cross Country hosted the Greenwood-Abbeville County Championships on Saturday at Connie Maxwell Children’s Home’s Oasis Farm. Dixie won the boys championship, while Ninety Six won the girls championship. Emerald XC hosted a meet yesterday afternoon with Dixie, Greenwood, Ninety Six, Pendleton, and Wren. Wren swept the boys and girls team competitions.
