If you are injured, do not wait to be evaluated. Report it to the athletic trainer as soon as possible. The sooner we can address the injury, the better off you will be. You are not doing your team a favor by “toughing it out”. You are hurting yourself and your team by not being at 100%. We do not hold athletes out when not necessary, we are not running a daycare.
If you are injured and are not able to see the trainer immediately and the injury is not an emergency, remember RICE at home and see the trainer as soon as possible.
