Boys Varsity Baseball · Senior Spotlight – Chase Prochaska


  1. What are your plans for 2020-21? In the upcoming year I plan to attend Lander University to further my education and baseball career.
  2. What is your favorite memory from your time as an Emerald athlete? My favorite memory at Emerald would probably be the time We played Mid-Carolina at Emerald and I hit a walk off single to score two players to secure the region title.
  3. Individual Awards: I have received two All-Region player awards in the years of 2018 and 2019. Also I have received Offensive MVP in the years of 2016 and 2018.
  4. What is your advice for the teammates who will play on your team next season? I wish you all the best of luck and hope you all do great things on and off the field. Also remember to play every game like it’s your last because you never know when your season will be cut short.
  5. Is there anyone you would like to thank from your time at Emerald? I would like to thank all the coaches that have help me develop into the player and person I am today not only on the field but off as well. Also, I want to thank all the teachers I have had over the last four years at Emerald High School you all were wonderful and I cherish every moment that made my high school experience fun and memorable.

Coach Colby Painter on Chase: Chase has always been the hardest worker on the team and earned everything that he got. I am excited to see him play at the next level!
