Game Recap

The Emerald Vikings season ended as the Vikings lost 5-2 to Lancaster in seven innings at EHS on Monday.

Austin Gray baffled Lancaster , striking out three batters. Gray allowed no earned runs, four hits and three walks over five innings.

Lancaster was sparked by Evan Hardin and CJ Brown, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as Lancaster scored four runs on an RBI double by Hardin and two singles.

Two runs in the bottom of the third helped the Vikings close their deficit to 4-2. An RBI single by Gray and a groundout by Cameron Hamby gave the Emerald Vikings Varsity life. But, Raul Garcia Mora got Andrew Patterson to strike out to end the inning.
