A tenth-inning Camden High School single spelled defeat for the Emerald Vikings Varsity, falling 2-1 in walk-off fashion at Camden, SC on Friday.

With the score tied at one in the tenth inning, Cobb came to the plate and singled, plating Pierce.

Harrison Marcengill reached base two times in the game for the Emerald Vikings. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the third inning.

Tanner Eklund worked out of seven tricky spots for the Vikings. He pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed no earned runs on four hits. Eklund faced his most difficult moment in the tenth inning.

The Emerald Vikings Varsity scored their only run of the game on an RBI triple by Marcengill in the third inning.
